Behind the Terror
Despite the film's troubled production, it has become a worthy addition to the franchise thanks to its talented director, amazing cast, and excellent crew. After being approached by David Fincher, H.R. Giger agreed to redesign the Alien. Returning from their previous collaboration with Stan Winston on the last sequel, Alec Gillis and Tom Woodruff Jr. constructed the various forms of the creature while Woodruff himself portrayed the monster in a suit. Although this was his first feature and a truly awful experience he would rather forget, Fincher brought forth an incredibly dark sequel that could never be matched.
