Alien War

Created by Gary Gillies and John Gorman, Alien War was a "total reality" experience in the UK that first debuted in April 1992 at the Arches in Glasgow. It later moved to the the Bournemouth International Centre and then the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre. On October 15th, 1993, it opened in London in the basement of the Trocadero Centre. Sigourney Weaver and Lance Henriksen attended the event. After a flood in August 1996, the attraction closed its doors.

During the ride, United States Colonial Marines escorted visitors on foot through an Alien research facility. The creatures would break loose, attacking the marines while the participants were hurried through the complex. Eventually, the guests were forced through an Egg chamber, complete with the Queen Alien.

On November 28th, 2008, the attraction reopened in Glasgow but in a modified form. Now titled "Alien Wars," it's no longer tied to the Alien films, and instead of featuring Colonial Marines with Pulse Rifles, it has soldiers in black suits.
